Applicants know they want a career as a Web App Developer. They would love the opportunity to work at a Microsoft Business Partner writing software alongside experienced developers and get day release to study at Manchester Metropolitan University. If you are a self-starter that has coded your own apps or website projects outside of the classroom, the BSc Digital & Technology Degree Apprenticeship should be a serious option for you.
The great thing about the degree apprenticeship is that you'll be putting the theory you learn in university lectures and tutorials into practice at 360 Systems. Working alongside experienced developers on real projects enables you to advance rapidly and enhance your career prospects significantly over traditional Computer Science graduates. As well as earning a salary, your university tuition fees are paid over the 4 years of the degree.
This is a rewarding career path for people who relish the challenge of a learning and working environment. As a Degree Apprentice, you will follow the same track as our Graduate intake.
We train you up in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript for front end development and then C# for the back-end server-side code. This is the start of our fast track programme to turning you into a commercial web developer using JavaScript Frameworks, Microsoft .NET and the Azure Cloud platform.
Alongside training and masterclasses, you work with experienced Full Stack Developers supporting the systems we write, taking an active part in projects and rapidly improving your software development skills.
Alongside writing code, you will gain experience in delivering projects using the latest DevOps methods. You will be involved in requirements gathering, prototyping, coding, delivery and support. Your analytical approach to problem-solving, strong maths and passion for software development make you an asset to the team.
You will work on a range of interesting projects building websites, mobile applications and web portal systems for our clients in the UK and Europe.
Following completion of the Degree Apprenticeship, you will be a full-stack Software Engineer with 4 years of commercial experience building bespoke web systems and should be looking at undertaking a Lead Developer Role.
Our Ellesmere Port Office is convenient for Chester, Liverpool, Wirral, North Wales or Warrington and day release to Manchester Metropolitan University. We will help you with finding student accommodation in Chester and overnight stays at Uni where you are on block release.
School Leavers with good maths and technical ability, and who have written a website, app or completed a Codecademy or Udemy Software Developer course are very much encouraged to apply.
Salary: £16,000 pa plus tuition fees paid.
