We are looking for school leavers who are talented programmers with predicted grades A*, A or B at Maths A-Levels to take on a Software Engineer Degree Apprenticeship at 360 Systems, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. The Closing date for applications is Friday 27 March for June 2020 start.
Applicants know they want a career as a Web App Developer. They relish the challenge of building commercial software for 360 Systems clients and studying the theory they are putting into practice during day release to University.
If you have already built some apps or a website outside of the classroom, a BSc Digital & Technology Degree Apprenticeship should be a serious option for you.

Software Engineer Apprenticeship
This is a rewarding career path for people who relish the challenge of a learning and working environment. As a Degree Apprentice, you will follow the same track as our Graduate intake.
We start you off with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript for front end development and then C# for the back-end server-side code. This is the start of our fast track programme to turning you into a commercial web developer using JavaScript Frameworks, Microsoft .NET and the Azure Cloud platform.
Alongside training and masterclasses, you work with experienced Full Stack Developers supporting the systems we write, taking an active part in projects and rapidly improving your software development skills.
Responsibilities

Career Path
As well as writing code, you will gain experience in delivering projects using the latest DevOps methods. You will be involved in requirements gathering with business people through to prototyping, coding, delivery and support. Your analytical approach to problem-solving, strong maths and passion for software development make you an asset to the team.
In return, you will work on a range of interesting projects building websites, mobile applications and web portal systems for our clients in the UK and Europe.
Following completion of the Degree Apprenticeship, you will be a fully-fledged Software Engineer with 4 years of commercial experience building bespoke web systems and should be looking at undertaking a Lead Developer Role.

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Our Ellesmere Port Office is convenient for Chester, Liverpool, Wirral, North Wales or Warrington and week-long block release to Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent or Manchester Metropolitan University. We will help you with finding student accommodation in Chester and overnight stays at Uni where you are on block release.
School Leavers
School Leavers with good maths and technical ability, and who have written a website, app or completed a Codecademy or Udemy Software Developer course are very much encouraged to apply.
Salary: £14,000pa plus tuition fees paid.
