If you have already built web apps or a website outside of the classroom, a BSc Digital & Technology Degree Apprenticeship should be a serious option for you.
BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions
Putting the theory you learn in coursework and lectures into practice at 360 Systems allows you to advance rapidly, enhancing career prospects significantly over traditional Computer Science Graduates.
The QA website has an outline of the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship programme which covers the key Computer Science subject areas. Once a week there are classes in Manchester or Liverpool and the BSc (Hons) degree is awarded by Roehampton University.
On the other 4 days, there is real coding work to be done. You will be mentored by expert programmers, support systems and code your own projects for clients of 360 Systems. You will be based in Ellesmere Port Cheshire, an easy commute from Chester, Merseyside, North Wales, Wirral and Warrington.
Software Engineer Apprenticeship
One of the great things about the Degree Apprenticeship is that you’ll be earning a salary straight away and have your tuition fees paid over the 4 years of the degree programme.
You are assigned a highly experienced Full Stack Developer mentor and follow the same track as our Graduate intake, taking an active part in projects and rapidly improving your software development skills.
- Learn core development technologies
- 1st line support for systems, websites and customers
- Test systems as part of a project team
- Take on day to day tasks of experienced developers
- Employ coding best practices in the work you do
- Create high quality systems
- Code Front End Web and Mobile Apps
- Write backend systems in C# ASP.NET MVC
As well as writing code, you will gain experience in delivering projects using the latest DevOps methods. You will be involved in requirements gathering with business people through to prototyping, coding, delivery and support. Your analytical approach to problem-solving, strong maths and passion for software development make you an asset to the team.
In return, you will work on a range of interesting projects building websites, mobile applications and web portal systems for our clients in the UK and Europe.
Following completion of the Degree Apprenticeship, you will be a fully fledged Software Engineer with 4 years of commercial experience building bespoke web systems and should be looking at undertaking a Lead Developer Role.

Our Ellesmere Port Office is convenient for Liverpool, Wirral, Chester, Warrington or North Wales and day release will be to Liverpool or Manchester.
School Leavers with good maths and technical ability, and who have written a website, app or completed a Codecademy or Udemy Software Developer course are very much encouraged to apply.
Salary: £14,000pa plus tuition fees paid.
