Background
Scottish & Newcastle Pub Company is part of the Heineken Group, incorporating some of the best known beer brands on the market. S&N Pub Company looks after thousands of pubs which they lease to tenants throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Each pub has important documentation including Title Deeds, Leases, Plans, Photographs and Correspondence making up millions of pages. Instant access to this information is needed by Business Development Managers, Estates Surveyors and Legal teams. Before this project, Central Property Admin had to physically retrieve the requested documents from a strong room, take a photocopy and courier or post it to whoever needed it. This presented a list of concerns around the timeliness of retrieval as well as documents getting damaged or lost and whether photocopies were of the most up to date version of the document.
A decision was made to proceed with an overhaul of the entire system. Scottish & Newcastle decided to commission 360 Systems to provide the complete solution.
Result
The result is a complete transformation. Now local managers and legal teams can call up documents for any of their thousands of pubs around Britain in seconds, dramatically accelerating key decision-making processes. They can do this through the LAN or from any remote locations via a web browser.
